About the event
Aweil Women Association (AWA) warmly invites members, families, friends, and supporters from across the United States to our Community Fundraiser and Cultural Gathering.
Hosted by our Chairwoman and the Iowa chapter, this special event brings together members from Iowa, Arizona, California, Nebraska, Texas, and other states to celebrate our shared heritage while raising funds for community development initiatives in Aweil, South Sudan.
The evening will feature:
Traditional South Sudanese cultural performances
Authentic South Sudanese cuisine
